In 2014, TAM’s main competitor in Brazil, “GOL Linhas Aéreas”, was the official sponsor of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. With a considerable increase forecast on the flow of people coming here and traveling between states, they would lose visibility in this important moment for selling tickets.
However, GOL had no flights to Europe, that is, all passengers coming from there could not fly “GOL Linhas Aéreas”, but could travel by TAM.
This was the opportunity the agency took to develop a campaign with the Brazilian players playing in Europe who would have to travel to Brazil to participate in the Cup.
